University of Wyoming Athletics Partners with CaringCent to Expand Development Efforts through New Fundraising Technologies

Laramie, WY – University of Wyoming Athletics and the Cowboy Joe Club (CJC) have partnered with CaringCent to digitally mobilize and engage Cowboy supporters both in Wyoming and across the country. Through this collaboration, the University of Wyoming is leveraging CaringCent’s proven technology and skilled service to activate, wealth screen, engage and generate new donations from Cowboy Athletics supporters located both in-market and out-of market.

CaringCent’s platform and service generates new and engaged major gift and CJC leads through a smart process of new lead generation, activation of existing leads, and intelligent tracking of ongoing engagement. Additionally, the CJC leverages CaringCent’s customized fundraising technology to generate new donations from activated leads that either live out-of-market or have not participated in the standard CJC offering.

“The world needs more Cowboys is a statement we truly believe in here in the state of Wyoming and CaringCent gives us the opportunity to reach more of our dedicated supporters,” said University of Wyoming Director of Athletics Tom Burman. “Our partnership with CaringCent will enable our department to activate the full potential of our support base, wherever they may live, in a way that will help enhance our fundraising efforts, help us reach our development goals, while making our staff more efficient.”

“When you spend a Saturday afternoon at War Memorial Stadium, you quickly realize how incredibly passionate Wyoming fans are for their Cowboys. This same passion exists across the national Cowboys fan base that can’t attend in-arena events,” said Jim Wills, MD, CEO of CaringCent. “Together, we harness this excitement to fully unlock the donation potential of their national support base through a collaborative and customized process that leverages our technology and service under Wyoming’s guidance.”
