Cedar City, UT – Southern Utah University Athletics and the Thunderbird Athletic Foundation (TAF) has partnered with CaringCent to generate new donations from Thunderbird supporters both in Utah and across the country through targeted digital engagement. Through this collaboration, Southern Utah University is leveraging CaringCent’s proven technology and skilled service to activate, wealth screen, engage and generate new donations through CaringCent’s proprietary fundraising platform.
CaringCent’s platform, which includes a smart process of new lead generation, activation of existing leads and intelligent tracking of ongoing engagement results in new and engaged major gift and TAF leads ready for TAF staff to pursue. TAF and CaringCent will target CaringCent’s customized fundraising technology to generate new donations from activated leads that either live out-of-market or have not participated in the standard TAF.
In the coming months, the TAF and CaringCent will collaborate to host a Virtual Gala along with a Digital Golf Outing, with both events leveraging CaringCent’s digital engagement and fundraising technologies to maximize participation and revenue. “We are thrilled to work with CaringCent as we grow Southern Utah Athletics. Their platform will be a catalyst to what we are already doing very well as an external team,” said Southern Utah Sr. Associate Athletics Director for External Affairs KC Smurthwaite. “We ask our coaches and student-athletes to compete every day. As an administration, we do the same. We have a sense of urgency to try new things that haven’t been done at SUU or even in the industry. I foresee CaringCent playing a role in these plans.”
